Your patients are your business. We understand that by prescribing a knee scooter or recommending a patient to us, you are putting your reputation at risk. Our goal is to provide the highest level of personalized service to your patients. We work closely with your patients, delivering the knee scooters, fitting them, and training your patients to properly use them. Our commitment is to have our level of service reflect well on your patient care.
We do not bill insurance companies. We recommend that before your patient places an order they contact their insurance company and understand what costs will be covered. Many insurance companies will cover most of the cost of the knee scooter rental, but individual policies may contain deductibles, different levels of co-payment for durable medical equipment, and other requirements.
If your patient's insurance company requires a Certificate of Medical Necessity, we can provide a form for them to bring to you for your signature. Your patient will be responsible for paying the full cost of the rental and filing a claim through their insurance company for reimbursement.
